The work of The Foundation for Environmental Security and Sustainability (FESS) focuses on assessing environmental security problems and developing innovative solutions. Our challenge is to identify and address environmental issues before they become critical problems. Our efforts are based on the understanding that effective environmental policy can make a significant contribution to social stability, human security, and the prevention of conflict.

FESS is interested in attracting highly motivated and qualified professionals. An advanced degree and/or related work experience in the environmental or social sciences, geography, economics, area studies, international affairs, research methods, or technical writing is preferred.
